Chcieliśmy, żeby ten kolor zachwycał, zwracał uwagę. Ta rzeźba jest bardzo charakterystyczna i będzie świetnie wyglądała w tej zieleni, która jest tu wszechogarniająca. Wspólnie przygotowaliśmy projekt do programu Centrum Rzeźby Polskiej w Orońsku „Rzeźba w przestrzeni publicznej dla Niepodległej”, finansowanego przez Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego. Orońsko jest inicjatorem idei, by było jak najwięcej rzeźby w przestrzeni publicznej. Przed rokiem udało nam się pozyskać w ten sposób fundusze na „Dłoń” Xawerego Wolskiego, a w tym roku na tę pracę Maurycego Gomulickiego. Bardzo się cieszymy, że także ta rzeźba będzie zdobić przestrzeń Buska – podkreśla.
Warto także dodać, że zaczęliśmy coraz częściej odwiedzać muzea, zaglądać do galerii sztuki współczesnej, bywać na aukcjach i zdecydowaliśmy się na podjęcie studiów podyplomowych „Rynek sztuki i antyków” w krakowskiej Akademii im. Frycza Modrzewskiego, które bardzo nam pomogły poszerzyć nasze zainteresowania kulturą wizualną.
Dodam, że obawy były na wyrost, większość mieszkańców miasta zareagowała bardzo pozytywnie, młode pary małżeńskie, tuż po ślubie, przychodziły lub przyjeżdżały zrobić sobie sesję zdjęciową, właśnie w otoczeniu tych atrakcyjnych, żelaznych mężczyzn!
